Where Are We?

Woods Cottage and the Tournerbury Woods Estate are hidden away from the world in the Chichester Harbour Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Situated right on the South Coast of England on the Hampshire / West Sussex border and in between the historic market town of Chichester and the Naval City of Portsmouth, Tournerbury is the perfect base to explore some of England’s finest countryside.

Looking North East from Tournerbury, one can see the Spire of Chichester Cathedral on the other side of the harbour surrounded by the South Downs and Goodwood Race course rising up from the harbour plain. The Solent and the Isle of Wight lie to the South. Central London is just over 70 miles away by road and the new £350 million A3 tunnel under The Devils Punchbowl at Hindhead has made travel times to central London any destination served by the M25, considerably quicker.
