How to Book Your Wedding with Tournerbury

Posted on 5th December 2023

To book a wedding date with us, you first have to come along and see the venue, we love to meet our couples, and tell you all about how our venue can work to match your plans and aspirations for your wedding day. Please make sure you book an appointment to view as the venue is on private land and is not publicly accessible.

If you live overseas or in another part of the country we can do virtual viewings with you over Facetime.

We know that when you come to view, you will probably have lots of follow-up questions, and hopefully, our FAQ's page will give you lots of the answers you seek. But what happens now?

Step 1: Provisionally Book Your Date

Congratulations on finding your dream wedding venue! Once you have a special date in mind, give us a call or email us at info@tournerbury.com to provisionally pencil your name on the calendar.

We hold provisional dates for 7 days, this is to give you time to contact the registrars or your church to check if they have your date available, look into wedding insurance or maybe you’d like to visit us again with family or friends to help you to make that all-important decision.

Step 2: Ready to confirm?

So, you have your ceremony booked in with the registrars/church, and you’re ready to confirm our venue. We will then email you a “Welcome/Booking” pack which contains the Inventory (this is a list of everything you are physically hiring including exclusive use of the site, marquee, dining tables and chairs, all standard interior and exterior lighting, dance floor, sound system, firepit, logs for the firepit, power, loos, water, use of Woods Cottage for the day, the ‘Victorian Gazebo’, and The Deck. The pack also contains our recommended supplier list (you are free to use all of these wonderful suppliers or none of them at all – the choice is yours), our Hire Contract (please read this carefully and ask us any questions you want) and finally your Booking Form. You need to sign and date the Booking Form and return it to us along with payment to secure your date.

Step 3: Get Planning!

Once we’ve received your payment and signed Booking Form you can begin your wedding planning! Closer to your date you will meet your Venue Manager to go through the finer details of your special day.

Our main advice, enjoy every stage of planning your special day, and we’ll be here every step of the way!
